Sea Kayaking Expeditions
Paddle your way to adventure and discovery.
"This trip was pretty neat"
— John Traendly
Global Adventure
Expeditions are unique opportunities made possible through generous alumni donations that enable students to experience breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary circumstances. Expeditions invite students to stretch beyond their comfort zone and test their skills in challenging conditions and situations.
Team Member Qualifications
Expedition team members are selected through a holistic application and interview process. Participants are expected to be active ORGT Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) holders, Georgia Tech students at the time of the expedition, and committed to contributing to the team's goals and objectives.
Expedition Benefits
Expeditions offer individuals the opportunity to test not only their personal capacities, but their group coordination, cooperation, and collaboration abilities as well. Reflecting on these experiences leads to sharper intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness and being better prepared to overcome future challenges.
